Writing the character, Lem, into Beauty in Pain helped me with a realization. This particular story line told me what book I had to write next - the novel follow up to Black Love: A Book of Poetry & Love.

Alice V. Benton is a poet, author and writer. She has published three books to date: Black Love: A Book of Poetry & Love, Beauty in Pain and book one of the Autumn's Five Seasons series. Ms. Benton received her BA from the College of New Rochelle and Her MS Ed was obtained from Fordham University. She doesn't stick to one literary genre and enjoys a challenge.
