Beauty in Pain - Available Now

The hardcover is available!  We waited a long time, but now Beauty in Pain can be purchased online.  This is my second book, Black Love being the first, and I'm very excited about it.  I looking forward to experiencing it with you, as well as hearing your comments.

Valerie Peterson is in the middle of a nap on the living room couch when she hears her ten-year-old daughter say, “Mommy, mommy . . . you need to get  up.” Later, Valerie learns that her sister, June, is clinging to life inside a hospital room—the victim of a car accident involving a drunk driver.
