Happy Groundhogs Day

Alice Benton's Blog wishes you a happy Groundhogs Day!  Punxsutawney Phil was awaken in ceremony today by the President of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club.  They looked for Phil's shadow, which is customary, but it could not be found.  A member of the club then pronounced by reading a scroll that apparently was written by Phil, that spring is coming early.  So good-bye winter, I hope they're right.

By the way, this post is doubling as a birthday shout out because it's Phil's 125th.  Happy birthday, Punxsutawney Phil!
