Character Introduction

Jan Simpson is the daughter of Samantha and Peter Simpson.  She has two daughters and is also Valerie Peterson's niece.  She's not much younger than Valerie and grew up with her and June in the same household side-by-side.  Jan is more like the sixth sister, although, Valerie's her aunt.

This character was always in Beauty in Pain.  She's a bit understated, but extremely important.  Jan is the family's resident drama queen.  Valerie always watched over Jan as they grew up together.  Jan returns the favor when it's needed most.  Jan plays an essential part during Valerie's "sink episode", which is a pivotal moment in the story.
