I've mentioned this on my facebook fan page. There is a point during Beauty in Pain, that the main character, Valerie mentions that she is reading Black Love. That tickles me! I hope it made you smile too.

Alice V. Benton is a poet, author and writer. She has published three books to date: Black Love: A Book of Poetry & Love, Beauty in Pain and book one of the Autumn's Five Seasons series. Ms. Benton received her BA from the College of New Rochelle and Her MS Ed was obtained from Fordham University. She doesn't stick to one literary genre and enjoys a challenge.
