Cafe Lou's

Every first Friday, Cafe Lou's has an open mic night.  Cafe Lou's is located at 3060 Boston Road in the Bronx, NY.  The cover charge at the door is only $5 and there's a bar inside, as well as a place to eat.

I attended the event this month and it was really something to see.  I really enjoyed the show.  There was a great emcee by the name of RIP Michaels, as well as DJ Hollywood, a poet, rappers and even a singer.

The Big Man Entertainment (BME) All Stars flexed there presence in this showcase. Everyone was good, but among my favorites were the poet, known as Info and Beau Bostic.  Grand also held his own while performing, although, he is not with BME, he was very entertaining.  Not a bad way to spend a Friday night.
